Welcome to DJAME Log

“If you want your life to change for the better you have come to the right place”

The D.J. Academy for Managerial Excellence (DJAME) was established in the year 2001 by late Dr.D. Jayavarthanavelu, Past-Chairman of Lakshmi Machine Works Limited (LMW), Coimbatore as a unit of the GKD Charity Trust, Coimbatore. The Institute offers a two-year full-time MBA program recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It is also a recognized Centre for pursuing part-time M.Phil and Ph.D programmes of the Bharathiar University.

DJAME is located on the Coimbatore – Pollachi Highway at Othakkalmandapam, about 20 kms from Coimbatore City. Set amidst greenery with sprawling open spaces and away from the hustle bustle of the city, the campus is ideally suited for academic pursuits.

DJAME was established with the objective of helping students evolve into competent and socially responsible Business Managers. At DJAME we offer a unique program that focuses on experiencing.  DJAME aims at helping the student apply learning and hence the experience will be exuberantly experiential teaching and learning.

DJAME believes in growing people from the inside and not just transfer of capability from the outside. The Academy’s pedagogical methodology encompasses a myriad of direct and indirect processes providing opportunities to explore the dimensions of corporate life.

Today, DJAME is poised to enter its next level of excellence in academics, research and educational outreach.

If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it.
Margaret Fuller
In line with Margaret Fuller’s stance, knowledge deserves to be shared.Sharing is not just about being of service to the others but it helps the maven in deepening their own knowledge, making them a valuable part of the larger society. We intend to share the unique set of knowledge and expertise of the team at DJAME with the world instead of hoarding it. Hoarding can eventually make one oblivious to their incompetence.

We believe this effort will reach Students, Educators, Management Practitioners and other interested people. We hope you find some of what we share informative, interesting and inspiring.

Stay Tuned!

We’d be very grateful if you’d help it spread by emailing it to a friend, or sharing it on LinkedIn or Facebook. Thank you!
